REGULATIONS
The Granfondo Firenze De Rosa is an amateur international cycling race open to all athletes according to the FCI Rules regarding  memebership and  Insurance

The Granfondo Firenze De Rosa will take place in Florence on April 14, 2019. Two routes are planned: the long route or ‘Granfondo’ of 140 km and the medium route or ‘Mediofondo’
of 90 km.

Art. 1 PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
The Granfondo Firenze De Rosa is open to all card-holding members of F.C.I., UISP and sports promoting bodies with a qualifying medical certificate to practice competitive cycling, and to foreign non-professional cyclists regularly enrolled in the Federation for the year 2019. The event is also open to all touring cyclists who must, however, participate the Medium Route of 90 km. Touring cyclists not in possession of the relevant membership card will be OBLIGED to sign up for a daily FCI card for insurance purposes and to provide a VALID MEDICAL CERTIFICATE.Foreign athletes MUST PRESENT A VALID SPORTS FITNESS MEDICAL CERTIFICATE.

The event is by invitation and the Organising Committee may at any time and at its sole discretion decide whether to accept or deny a registration or whether to exclude a registered participant in instances that could cause damage to the image of the event. Moreover, the O.C. may decide to implement in full the directive that allows former professionals and former U23 who have ceased competitive activities for less than 5 years to participate, only as touring
cyclists and therefore outside the official classifications. Professionals, Elites (men and women) and U23, Juniors and Students may be admitted exclusively for promotional purposes and subject to invitation by the Organising Committee and will not take part in the rankings in any way.

Art. 2 REGISTRATIONS
Entries must be completed using the appropriate LIn direct to the http://www.sms-sport.it site available on the website www.granfondofirenze.it.

Art. 3 REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Deadline for registrations (via fax, email and online) has been set for April 7, 2019 at 10:00 pm. This
deadline may be anticipated at the final discretion of the Organising Committee according to operational
needs and the safety of participants. Registrations will again be possible, however, on Friday, April 12 and
Saturday, April 13 (gadgets are not guaranteed) directly on site with the organising secretary.

12 / 13.04.2019 € 60 WITHOUT TECHNICAL SWEATER directly to the organizational secretariat and without warranty of the gadget package.

Members of the Coppa Toscana Road 2018 and Alè Challenge 2018 who would like a Commemorative tshirt
can purchase it for 20 euro by sending an email to kuthai@kuthai.it by 15.03.2019 with the words
“richiedo maglia 2019 GF Firenze” and by noting “abbonato CT/Alè 2019” and including the requested size.

Handicap holders have a free subscription. In order to be able to take advantage of it, you will have to submit a license for a Disabled athlete.

Art. 5 CANCELLATION/CANCELLATION OF PARTICIPATION
The paid registration fee is not refundable under any circumstances. Registered participants unable to participate in the event must notify it no later than 08.04.2018 by email at organizzazione@granfondofirenze.it and the registration fee will be postponed to the following year. For members of Coppa Toscana Road no refunds under any circumstances will be granted for nonparticipation and/or waiver and/or exclusion that may be decided by the O.C. of the Florence GF. If due to reasons of force majeure the event does not take place, registration fees will not be reimbursed. The race packet not collected will not be sent home under any circumstances.

Art. 11 MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
All participants are obliged to have the following equipment with them at the moment of entering the starting area:
A tire/tube disassembly set
An extra inner tube
A pump (or canister of compressed air) for inflating tires
A water bottle
Additionally, all participants, during the entire duration of the race, are obliged to wear an approved hard helmet and must attach in a legible way both the rigid race number on the bike frame and the back number on the t-shirt.

Art. 12 ACCOMPANYING VEHICLES
Assistance from private parties following one or more athletes on the race route is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Cyclists found with assisting vehicles along the route will be DISQUALIFIED and removed from the finish rankings. Moreover, the membership team will also be excluded from participating in future editions of the Florence GF and will be reported to federal authorities for anti-sporting behaviour.

Art. 13 ROAD RULES
Roads will be temporarily closed to traffic per the Ordinance issued by the overseeing Prefecture. Every participant is obliged to observe the Rules of the Road with absolute respect. Applies for each participant the absolute respect and observance of the Highway Code as soon overcome by the END RACE car.

Griglia De Rosa: reserverd for Team De Rosa Santini, Team Granfondo Firenze and 10 Holders De Rosa bikes

Ciclosportivi (touring cyclists who must, however, run the Medium Route of 90, Colore ARANCIONE) .All those who consider themselves entitled to a spot in the Rankings grid (Red) MUST send an email to organizzazione@granfondofirenze.it with the subject “Griglia di Merito GF Firenze” by and not later than 02.04.2018.
All other forms of request will not be considered.

Art. 17 COMPLAINTS
Any complaints must be directed to the race Jury in regulation terms and be accompanied by the set fee. Collective complaints signed by more than one person are not allowed.

The O.C. reserves the right to change the categories in accordance with new regulations or requirements.

ART. 20 REGISTRATION FORM
By signing the registration form, contestants declare: to be in possession of a valid medical certificate in accordance with the D.M. of 18/02/82; to be in possession of a valid membership card from a sports promoting Body from the Council; to have read and agreed to these regulations in their entirety.
Ethics Requirement: By signing and submitting the entry form, the competitor, together with the representative of his team, self-certifies that there are no sporting sanctions, civil and / or criminal or ongoing investigations against him for the facts relating to doping and He said they had not taken – and not
take – substances included in the doping list of the World Anti-doping Agency (WADA) (https://www.wadaama.org/en/resources/sciencemedicine/prohibited-list).In the event of a positive doping controls carried out in Florence Gran Fondo De Rosa, ie positivity detected in 6 (six) months following Granfondo Florence De Rosa, the competitor must pay to the Organizing Committee, to the serious compensation for damage done to ‘ image of the event, the sum of € 50,000.00
(fifty thousand euro / 00). Where belonging to a sports club, it will be jointly and severally liable for payment of the penalty. The OC reserves the right to pursue the competitor and the sports club in all appropriate forums to protect its image. The contestant consents moreover to the use of his or her image and personal data, as provided by the DLgs nr. 196 of 30 June, 2003 (provision for the protection of personal data). The online form submission is deemed for all legal intents and purposes an electronic signature. By electronic signature the law intends all data in electronic form, attached or associated by means of other electronic data, used as a method of information identification.

ART. 21 PROGRAMME CHANGES
The Organising Committee reserves the right to make changes to the present regulations, giving appropriate visibility on the website www.granfondofirenze.it. The website www.granfondofirenze.it will be considered the official means of communication of the event. All official communications will be made
through the website www.granfondofirenze.it The Organising Society refuses every responsibility for any accidents or damages incurred before, during,
and after the race, and reserves the right to accept registrations at its sole discretion.
